I’m thinking about buying 1000m wheels for my ZB that’s in production. If I buy them I would want to refinish them, and I wanted to see what people think.

Option 1) I’ve always loved white wheels. Do you all think this would be too much if they were finished in white? Is it hard to maintain ceramic coated white wheels?

Option 2) Going with like a clear frozen Silver finish. I’m leaning towards this at the moment. With the car being a light blue maybe this will flow better than white. If I do this I would want to go with silver exhaust tips and maybe some other silver accent to pull it together. Here’s a link of 1000m wheels in silver on a g80.

Option 3) I like gold wheels on blue too. I feel like the current 1000m gold finish is a bit dark. Maybe I’m wrong tho. If I were to go this route I was thinking about finishing them with a very light colored gold. Like a champagne.

I’d appreciate any feedback on this. I can’t wait for the car to come in. I’m oddly coming from an 2022 RS6 to the M2. I was going to go with a G80 but my wife convinced me to get what I really want.

I saw get what you want. There are plenty of ZB with white gold and silver wheels out there. You say frozen silver. You mean matte silver or just a regular aluminum wheel?

I’m thinkkng about the lightest version of silver. Maybe just a clear frozen on aluminum. Kind of like this one.

That looks like the basic silver all wheels come in. Just black wheels have been this trend since 2000 lol I think the gloss or matte lighter gold would work well. But as I said you gotta choose as it's your car. You should have plenty of examples. Search the car color on IG or Google

Yeah I feel you. I think a lighter champagne gold would look really good. But my plan of action is to get the fit straight with the stock wheels. See if I really like the silver and go from there.

This guy has the closest to the gold I would go with. But I’d go even lighter than that.

I have been think about going gold or silver as well. I think with a blue car you can go both ways. I plan on going Twilight Purple so I will go with goldish 1000m (reps) but I think silver would pop like you knew you posted. I like that look and would go with them if I went blue (Voodoo)? The white would look nice also but keeping them clean seems like it would be a pain.
