Putting Car in Neutral While Moving (iDrive 8)
Finally figured out how to do it. It's always been that pressing the lever gently to N (not fully to P) won't change unless you are moving very slowly (less than 5 mph).
Turns out, if you hold the lever in the N position, it will switch regardless of what speed or driving mode you are in. So now I am able to rev the car out when coasting through tunnels and underpasses like a dumbass |

Is it worth the AA sticker price? Been debating buying one, but still on the fence. I have the mperf exhaust which isn’t very loud at all (only one available at the time of getting my car). I’ve read a few people say it made it a little louder.

Will you feel it after install ? Not so much on a non-tuned car. Even though dyno wise, you're probably picking up 15 - 20 hp. But, it sounds more throaty. You do get a slightly quicker spool up with the turbo. You get more smooth exhaust flow. Paired with an intake and catback - even better. And for me personally, I plan on a Femto unlock and tune in the future. And the only way to make the gains is with a high flow downpipe. And with the AA - No check engine lights, and no bad smells. It's a very high quality part. The AA downpipe is a very solid mod for the B58. Just don't buy it thinking it's going to make your M240i noticeably faster |
