Pic request: spacers at stock height

I know spacers have been discussed ad nauseum here but I don't see many pics of spacers at stock height.

I would appreciate it if those that have them could post pics of their cars with spacers at stock height.

Please note the size of the spacers when you post.

Thanks in advance. My M2 enters production in 10 days and I need to start planning for its arrival.

Here’s my 4x4. I’ve had Eibach Pro springs since before I took delivery. Don’t know if I’ll install them. That front lip is low. Front lip, for me, is more important than a drop. I can’t do G87 without front lip/splitter. I cannot stand the front end without a lip. Protecting that lip from certain death is my priority. We’ll see.
12mm spacers F/R.

Honestly, that looks pretty good. I have never liked the slammed look. However, some of the stock height cars without spacers seem to have more gap up front than in the rear and it looks...awkward. i was hoping spacers would lessen the oddness of the appearance.

I am planning 15mm BMS lightweight spacers. They are half the cost of the FC models and appear to made of the same stuff. I know many will prefer the FCs and feel they are worth the cost but I had BMS spacers on my G42 and had zero problems for 15k miles including hard corners and the occasional slide....so I will save the $200 and go BMS.

Just trying to see if I would be happy at stock height.

15/12mm on stock height.

Redacted picture of the wife rolling her eyes at me taking the picture. But honestly, when the car is clean and looking good you have to. Right?

Looks good. Let your wife roll her eyes. Black only stays clean for about 7 seconds so you need to document it in all of its glory when you can...

Looks great. I wonder what it look like 20” all around. Maybe I’ll do that vs lowering.

Having seen an M2 in-person at stock height with spacers, it gave me hope that I might not need to lower mine and just do spacers only.

Now my concern is rubbing, I’d love to hear more feedback on that from those in the stock height + spacers club

I have 15mm front & rear, stock height. I honestly don't see/feel the need to lower this car. No rubbing at all

12mm front and 15mm rear at stock ride height.

After 25 years of modifying/building and racing/tracking cars, I absolutely love the G87 M2 in stock form and absolutely dont feel the need to modify the suspension. The confort and performance of the OEM suspension is very good and the combo engine/transmission is really impressive at that price point.

JABCAT and ToCo....

Thank you for your posts.

JABCAT, as I have said before, your front gap seems to look smaller than others at stock height. May be an optical ilusion due to the bright red paint and the black wheels...not sure. If I could get that stance stock, I would prob not want to lower.

ToCo, thank you for the before and after pics. Can you post a side view to demonstrate the gap?

How do you guys feel about 15 front and 18 rear. I dont want my tread sticking out but a bit of bulging sidewall would be nice.

I'm considering swapping 18s on the rear to see how I like it. I do like 15 on the front more than the 13 I had. Still doesn't stick out of the wheel well, but fills it better.

Here's a good video to help you see the gap and decide what you would like for your car.

To each their own !

That looks a lot better than I thought it would. Makes me more confident of the m performance has I ordered with the car.

It is more so the overall tire diameter that matters. A 20" up front might give you the illusion it is filling the wheel well more but if the tire diameter is the same as stock it actually won't be.

Example. The stock 275/35/19 is approx 26.6" in diameter. The equivalent would be a 285/30/20 which is 26.7. To start to fill the wheel well more you'd need to step up to the 275/35/20 (27.6) or 285/35/20 (27.9) which will start to look really large and have larger sidewalls.

Yea, I understand all of that very well. I just perfer the look of matching sidewalls front to back. The front tires on the G series M cars bulge out and the rears slant inward. That part bothers me. The different heights on the sidewalls somewhat bother me too. I like my rubber equal height front to back. The front can be more narrow. But I perfer the same size sidewalls.

Gotcha. I'm running a 295/30/20 out back on both the stock 10.5" wheel and now my 11" wide wheels. Looks much better although I might go to a 305 next summer for more traction. The fronts are the stock 275/35/19 on 10" wide wheel. Sidewalls are 3.8 (19s) and 3.5 (20s). Going to the 305 will increase this to 3.6.

I will probably do 12mm all around. Not lowering. It does make steering feel different so smaller the better. I went from 15's then 18mm up front on my m4 for stance, but it felt worse the bigger you go imo.
