G42 M240i Amber DRL for base headlights

I really want to go with Amber versus Yellow DRL's, but have come across confusing photo's which show different headlights from mine. Anyone know which DRL board I need, I'm figuring these are the base LED's? Many thanks from a BMW rookie!

Figured it out, read post below.

Haven't really searched for the base model since I have the adaptive, but I've only come across Turner Motorsport having a base model board.

Well, I installed the "amber" module on the base headlights, not worth it IMHO. This was a $90.00 hour long bust.

The main problem is the base headlights have two strips of DRL, one on the top that looks like scales, the other on the bottom which functions as a DRL and turn signal. These module do not illuminate the scale DRL's on the top, they remain white. The DRL on the bottom illuminates "amber", which is also the turn signal.

I hope this helps someone else to decide it's not worth it.

Interesting. The stock white light color definitely looks better than the amber , imo.

Do they sell yellow modules for the base model headlights ?

Yes, if you want a link let me know. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, actually it's just an ebay seller.

You said earlier that our light bars are actually 2 separate systems. I'm assuming the amber turn signal, and also the white regular running light that stays on all the time.

Does the module change both color outputs? So the amber module you purchased, did it also change the always on drl to amber?

And yes, do you mind sharing the link please ?

The blinker is still there, it flashes behind it and is amber. It is amber/amber.

If you want amber you need to let them know in the comments. The same for yellow.
