Anyone install this on their G87?

Had it on my last G87. Will install it on the one I have in production right now.
If you order from IND, they provide the two extra bolts you need. If you order from GetBmwParts, you'll need to order two bolts, part number is 7119907857. Last edited by rons e92; 10-11-2024 at 12:09 PM.. |

I was thinking of ordering from IND as GetBmwParts says they need to ship it first from Germany and presumably/hopefully IND as some in stock. |

I'm not going to pretend it'll be super noticeable on the street, but it is significantly heftier and adds two more connection points and in general the CSL upgrades aren't gimmicks.

Installing this now and the plastic shroud in the front is problematic.
rons e92 did you have to cut some of the plastic back? |

If so, there is a black push style clip a little bit further forward that clips that black plastic cover to the body. It's round and has a pin basically stuck though a pin. Pull the center one up, it will then allow you to pull the whole pin out. You can remove that to gain access to the bolts. I just would bend mind and wedge the socket into there. I cracked one on one side which made it much easier. I'm sorry, I'd sent you pictures, but I don't have an M2 currently. If you're talking about something else, please send a photo and I'll try to help as best as I can. |

Ended up getting this installed no problem.
The CSL strut brace is a work of art. I had it powder coated: |

That looks great, especially powdercoated, but $2428 for a brace, no thanks.
