Pic/info request: black roof wraps

My Skyscraper Gray M2 is on the assembly line!

I ordered mine without the carbon roof since I like sunroofs. However, I think a gloss black roof would compliment the car so I am considering having it wrapped in Xpel gloss black ppf.

Looking for pictures and info from those who have done this.

Questions:
Did you replace the antenna cover with a gloss black one or did they wrap it? If wrapped, how did it turn out?

The strips along the sides where the roof rack would attach seems like it would be difficult to reinstall with the added thickness of the ppf. Did you have a problem with this? Would you recommend just ordering replacement part in gloss black? Also, anyone know what this part is called so I can search prices for replacements?

Finally, any warnings or disadvantages to wrapping in gloss black ppf?

I think this is the direction I want to go but still may change course and just do carbon spoiler, antenna cover and mirror caps...not sure how that would look without the carbon roof. Appreciate any thoughts on this plan as well....

Thanks to all in advance.

Hey no problem. I've always been a body-color roof & mirrors guy. Even paid to have the roof & mirrors painted on a couple cars that came with those parts black. If the gloss black mirrors on my Z06 were specifically for that special limited edition, I'd probably have them painted . That being said, a black roof on Brooklyn Grey will look good. Actually saw my first BG M2 in person today (was my 2nd color choice) and got a big thumbs up/wave from the driver

I'm going Skyscraper gray actually. My color selection went from Vegas Red to Alpine White to Brooklyn Gray to Skyscraper. I wanted a metallic that shows the bulges and curves more dramatically.

Funny how my brain ignored the skyscraper in your original post.
