Portimao Blue or Skyscraper Grey

So I am looking to getting a m240i x drive with in the next month or 2. I am having trouble deciding on which spec I want for it. I am also going to add the yellow drl headlights almost immediately but, I am having trouble seeing if it would even look good with the 2 spec here are some pictures below
Which spec is better I love both but also which would look better with the yellow drl.

Both cars look great the way you have them configured. But if you are considering adding yellow headlights, I believe yellow would work with blue better than grey. Without the yellow headlights, I would tend to lean toward the Skyscraper Grey. But that's just me.

In 2026, I'll be looking to replace my 2022 M240i x-drive. Your Skyscraper Grey spec with red interior is one spec I'm also considering along with a Vegas Red exterior with the black and red trim interior.

Love my BMW M240i (BSM and cognac) and will definitely be getting another.

I have a Brooklyn grey with yellow DRL’s and it looks great, IMO. I’ve always been a fan of grey though, so I’m a little biased.

Gray is super boring to me in general; however, I do like Brooklyn Gray (it looks much better in person). Thus, I would go Blue if I had to decide between that and the Skyscraper variety.

I still don't get the yellow DRL, they look hideous and old school to me.

If you haven’t ordered yet go check out the skyscraper color in person if you can. Even on another car. Pics don’t do it justice.

Hopefully I’ll have some pics and video to put up in about a week. Ordered a skyscraper m240 a couple months ago and just made it to Baltimore to come to my dealership.

Hmmmm..Skyscraper Grey or Portimao Blue...both are choices I too would consider.
Portimao is certainly a more vibrant color but not too much so.... Skyscraper would excel at looking pretty clean all the time and perhaps be considered a more mature color choice....something more like me in my 8th decade ;-)

Such a personal decision..perhaps your review of interior color options with each exterior paint option...might make the decision "easier".... Best wishes on your selection!

That looks like Frozen Pure Gray. $2300 option, right?

Indeed, on the configurator it looks like FPG.
The color on the configurator is completely different than in real life.
If you choose another model on the configurator, the color also looks different.
I hesitated between BG and PB and went for BG.
You have to see the colors in real life and then choose what you like and not what others like.
The M240i is a great car that looks good in any color.
Good luck with your choice

Very hard to tell.

Bottom is frozen.
