You didn’t read this thread then where the link to the part number is posted (by me) further up.

Which is weird, because the part number is clearly visible on the box in his photo, and it’s different to yours…

You even quoted my post and didn’t read it.
The one I posted have the 50 year projector slides included. Yours happen to be M included. The projector is the same. You can buy slides separately in packs.

Bought a set of these OEM projectors. For the life of me I cannot get the plug to disconnect from the factory LED housing. I even tried using a little pick tool in this hole but it just won't release. Of course I am trying not to pull on the wires for fear of pulling the wires out of the plug itself.

Any tips?

I grabbed the wires as low as I could go, wiggle back and forth with a little pulling pressure. That's how I did my m240 and x3

So there’s no tab to release?

I even tried pushing upwards on the underside of the plug’s wire side lip, no dice. Wiggled too but didn’t pull on the wires themselves.

No tab, check the 120sec mark of official video

Thanks. Ya I watched that video before and after. Can't really see how it's being gripped as his fingers block it, but the plug in the video is different than on mine. Color aside (black vs white) it looks bigger/thicker too. I'm sure there are many different plugs that BMW has used for this over the years.

Anyway, not rocket science I know, but maybe this IT guy needs to be a little more rough with it...

yea, I think you just need to give it a good wiggle, I'm positive I did not use a tool

I remember having a similar problem on the passenger side. I really had to give it a solid tug after wrestling with it for a bit. Worth it though!

Thanks for the support fellas. Wiggle x100, rubber gloves for grip, and a little bit more elbow grease and the stock door LED housings finally disconnected!

Just did my Projector lights

I just swapped mine this week. Took 5 minutes and I absolutely love it and they are much better colors than I was expecting. I spent $50 for both of them.

I got mine from AE and they have been holding up extremely well.

There are cheaper options than the ones i got but these has metal and glass material and feel well made compared to the all plastic cheap ones. Still much cheaper than OEM though

The bottom one (metal) is the one from the link
