I was told 6-9 months the automotive group I work for has 2 bmw dealers and I’m just being patient. I did change to a carbon roof on Monday and changed the seat colors, my dealer rep said the twilight paint is the only thing really holding mine up

UPDATE: After a long delay at stage 10 after build, I jumped several steps and was delighted to see my car is on the boat! Finally! I have Grigio Telesto individual color, week 42 build and the boat left Lazaro Cardenas port on 10/28/24 and is expected to touch base in Long Beach, CA on November 3rd (mine stays on the boat to go up to Port Hueneme which is very close to Long Beach.) I think those of us with Grigio Telesto or week 41/42 west coast USA bound builds should have our cars in the next 7-14 days!!! 😀

hopes this info helps others in my same situation who are eager for info and more so for their cars!

Just an update to the Glovis Sun arrival in Baltimore on November 5. As many of us that have a car on the ship know, the ship departed Altimera November1. I do a daily check, hoping for no hiccups. I included a screenshot showing ship is currently on schedule, Northeast of the Yucatan peninsula.

It feel like a long road but really only four months. Here is my timeline to help others.

I had HAS installed at the port. I hear they do a 10mm drop on both front and back. Based on what I see, I need another 10MM in the front and it will be equal.

So far 100% satisfied.

6/25/24 placed deposit
7/25/24 received allocation and production number (second group at my dealership)
7/28/24 order received
8/9/24 scheduled for production
8/20/24 production begins
9/6/24 entering assembly
9/9/24 final assembly
9/10/24 ready for transport
9/24/24 at the port
9/24/24 in transit
10/24/24 at the port
10/30/24 in transit
10/30/24 at the dealership
11/1/24 at home

I really shouldn't complain. Ordered MY25 on September 6. Waited 23 days in WFT Car is scheduled to arrive at dealership November 9. All's good I guess. Working on ordering and installation of TRE ID-01 CF spoiler after arrival. You have a beautiful car, really good looking wheels.

So i had good news and bad news from my CA today. Good is my FPG M2 that was stuck at the VPC for a month is ready to be picked up at the dealership tomorrow. Bad news is there was a dent on the bonnet/ hood that had to be painted an repaired at the port. My CA says you cant see anything wrong but im kinda bummed this happened after waiting for months. Im thinking of just refusing delivery and just placing a new order in.

I just placed order in VB a few days ago and made this account to announce to the group! I placed a deposit a few months ago and was 1st in line all this time but held off placing the order until now to target spring delivery. I plan on dailying this all year in Illinois, so I'll need two sets of wheels, but I didn't want to deal with that hassle until at least a few months into ownership. Time to hurry up and wait!

I'm with you man. My port is NY/NJ and my dealer is out on Long Island. Really hoping they can turn the installation of the accessories around quickly. I'd love to take delivery next weekend.

For those of you who has port installed accessories, roughly how long was your car at the port before it went back to in transit?

My car got to the port yesterday. I have 9 port installed accessories, so just trying to gauge when I can expect delivery.

Really hoping for this weekend.

I picked mine up today at BMW Welt in Munich.

Love the colour and how well it shows the broad hips of the car.

While BMW Genius did the introduction another Portimao Blue G87 was positioned just bext to mine FPB.

My car has been at the port of Newark since 11/10. Was originally scheduled to get on a truck 11/18. That didn't happen.

Called genius today, no eta on when my car is getting shipped to the dealer.

This is definitely the worst part of the wait.
