305 square on 19x11

Went to SCCA TX time trail event yesterday at ECR. Trying out some v730, 305 square definitely helps with corner entry rotation a lot.
Doesn’t feel much faster than PS4S star spec. But it’s cheap and last long , good practice tire!

What offset and spacers are you running?
I'm trying to find this setup without spacers.

Different setup but apex 19x11 square with 305 Goodyear 3r (12mm rear spacer and 15mm front spacer ). Need at least -3.3 front camber for it to clear. No rubbing otherwise

Do they just not have an offset that would work without spacers?
I feel like if I'm gonna buy spacers I'll just keep the stock wheels

Pretty sure the Titan wheels from PHD Racing don’t require spacers due to the lower offset.

Mine is 19x11 +8, also getting set of 18x11 +9. Both would work with no spacers. Personally I don’t like using spacers, less unsprung weight is always better

Stock suspension, if you don’t wanna use camber plate, get this fender clearance kit. No rubbing

NekoRacing shouldn’t a 18” wheel go up to 40 profile sidewall? OEM the 19” wheel is 35 profile (with the rears 20” being a 30 profile).

Depends on the manufacturer, this wheel manufacturer made sure it will clear stock calipers with their barrel. I’ll keep you updated

Yes, 275/40-20 would be the ideal size for track matching stock sidewall thickness. Both the GT4 and M2 Racing will use 300/40-20 slicks. But most track guys and I’ve been running 305/30-19, it’s a very popular tire size with a lot of options. Downsizing thickness is not a big problem to TC as long as front and rear keep the same ratio. Some people prefer the corner turn in feeling of smaller sidewalls ,the car feels more responsive. But I’m giving 295/35-18 a try to see if I like how it feels.

Will do! Lead time was 2 weeks, and it’s finally in a shipping container on the way here. $1750 for a set of 11” forged wheel, can’t complain, very excited to try these compare to my 19”.

Ah ok got ya: so no worry about overall OD being different. Simply going for track setup/feel of the car and what tire options are available. I was assuming the constraint of keeping final OD the same as OEM spec tire as the design constraint.

Don’t worry about overall OD being a little different, that’s one of the easiest way track people modify their final drive according to different track preferences (acceleration/top speed of each gear). As long as front and rear is the same ratio, you’re good to go!
