Yes, and if you have any port installed options it can be even a longer wait. M Sport Suspension for me, so we’ll see!!

I’m in WV and am still showing “at the port.” I’m sure it has to do with what all the dealership has ordered. The wait sucks though when it’s this close. lol
Hopefully my car shows up before the intake and exhaust tips I ordered today. 😬 |

At the dealership
The tracking status says "at the dealership". No call yet from dealer.
Hope to get over there tomorrow to inspect the "tire and cooling package" lol. order went in 7/19/24 so 3 months & 3 weeks. Bob |

Yes mine was delivered tonight as well. They will prep it tomorrow…but I was able to make 3 quick observations. 1. The M Sport Adjustable Suspension really makes the car look low. . 10mm drop makes a huge difference. 2. I have Yokohama tires. 3. The oil cooler had no extra protection covering it. I will go first thing in the morning. Have fun tomorrow seeing your “Ultimate Driving Machine” Last edited by JGarage; 11-13-2024 at 10:42 PM.. |

On the M2 the M performance height adjustable springs (HAS) are an available port installed option. Not available on the M240 as far as I know.
I'm not sure what the option cost is but I believe it is better from a warranty/support standpoint than putting them on yourself. I got a quote for lowering springs install with alignment for $1500! I will DIY instead, already got the neccessary BMW specific tools.

Port Jersey, I guess the dealer was right on target when they expected delivery on Saturday (when I asked last week)

Just curious, did they give you an estimated time of delivery after you placed the order at HC? I was told to expect 12-16 weeks. Stuck in final assembly right now.

The app does not update reliably. My car was on the boat for days before it got flipped to in tranist. I also called them during my car being seemingly stuck at final assembly and there is a ghost step in between where it gets "handed off to sales" whatever that means. There is also no status for when it is in transport to the port in mexico from the factory. Seems like everything is moving quickly, for you I would hope you are on a similar schedule to the 3 or 4 of us now recently who had their cars in less than 8 weeks from production beginning.

Really good deal for the kit, Basically the cost of HAS springs and the cost of labor at a good shop. Probably cheaper than the dealer would charge if they installed them.
