R4-S
High Performance Street Brake Pads For high performance and heavy duty street conditions the Porterfield R4-S compound re- mains a top performer in the realm of street/performance brake pads. With the R4-S compound giving a friction level up to .41. This is an amazingly fast stopping brake pad. Simply put, they will give you an impressive increase in stopping ability with very minimum amount of pedal effort. Perfect for prolonged everyday street driving while also being capable of enduring the most se- vere use without fade. It is also rotor friendly of course. We have gone to great measures to ensure that the R4-S compound has the absolute low- est noise and dust levels possible, far below O.E.M. equipment or any other high performance brake material. The R4-S compound which has an overall win in the Baja 1000 is available for most models of cars, trucks, and SUV’s. Superb stopping power under heavy use. Great for occasional autocrossing, solo events, off road events and rallies. Perhaps one of the overall best performing, clean and quiet everyday high performance driving brake pad ever made. I haven't tried these on a G87, but they worked great on my Type114 M2.
Very popular compound in the vintage community. |

Works great for up to intermediate level HPDE or for endurance racing in my experience. And the folks at Porterfield are awesome! Beyond that, there are much better pad options. Looks like you are a PFC dealer... ( JMHO, i have used a lot of brake pads over 25years of racing various BMW's. There is subjectivity in pad compound evaluation. ) |

Different pads for different purposes. Just too many variables to say which is the best pad. Yes, we are a PFC dealer. Are you after PFC08 or 11? Not sure if those are available yet for the G8x. |

Still waiting for my G87 to come in. PFC 332/334 probably the choice for that car. I run PFC 39's in my E36 race car. |

After a few phone calls and digging round it turns out the the PFC 331 and 332 pads aren't exclusive to Bimmerworld. Shoot us a PM when you are ready. We can special order them.
