I assume this car is dead in the US with the 100% tariff on Mexican assembled cars, right?

Well while we are at it, how about a super-revy NA engine with ITBs and lightweight flywheel/clutch. And 600 lb weight reduction.

Very… strange comment? - I am interested in the CS as it’s the last M car that may ever get produced with a pure ICE - and am on my local waitlist - thus I am curious how BMW will skirt around the tariff for this model (if they do). My local SA has not given me a clear answer on this. If this car is dead I would rather know sooner than later so I can buy something else.

Your analysis of the situation, and my question is to… tell me to tell my husband (wtf?) to set me straight (huh? What does that even mean?).

Very insightful analysis!

He doesnt exactly have the track record of doing the things he says he will do, personal feelings on the election aside I wouldnt really expect that tariff to materialize overnight or in the form it was presented.

Will gladly take your allocation if you believe it will be taxed to oblivion.

Not talking about a tax - talking about an import tariff. I am unsure what to believe in terms of the US leaving the USMCA, hence my question. Waiting on some sort of BMW guidance which should be forthcoming due to the sheer number of cars to be delivered from the SLP plant.

Those look like 827m alloys (20 rear, 19 front) which is to be expected I suppose.

Has anyone’s dealership given them any update, timeframe, ETA on the G87 M2 CS? I have one on order and haven’t received any news.

Looks really nice with the gold rims. Someone needs to update the Velvet blue render with these rims now. Should pop really well in tandem.

I think this combo will be the signature build for the CS, much like Misano blue with gold wheels was for the F87 CS.

At least that is what my build would be (if it came with a manual ).

Are my eyes deceiving me? Or are those both 19" wheels front and rear or have they got them on back to front and it's 19" on rears and 20" on fronts?

Yeah I was looking at that too. The passenger side certainly looks like they are on back to front. Drivers side looks ok...from the angles we can see.

Wondering if the little front lip will be available to put on regular M2's?

I think that's just the fisheye effect. Look at first picture, that seems to be staggered.

I have my name down and deposit paid for a CS, but other than engine tune, boot lid and front lip, there doesn’t seem to be much to differentiate it from the standard M2.

Given the X Drive will likely get another power bump to 503 bhp, I’m finding it difficult to get excited about the CS.

The CS models are usually the pinnacle of the range, but this seems outdated and outgunned before its even launched.

Anyone else not really feeling it?
