It's nice but is it the interior that different from say a G30 5-series aesthetically? A bit on the simple side imo. Reminds me of how the new Maserati Gran Turismo's interior design is hardly different from that of a $70k Grecale.
Merc AMG GT and SL interiors have a little more panache.

Well, so much for my fear of going one car too many...
Bought this new 2024 M8 Competition Coupe Tuesday. Same width and height as my 2023 M2. But about 9" longer. Oh and heavier of course. M8: 4295lbs; M2: 3814lbs. M8 comfort, ride, handling, interior, dash layout, etc., all are quite exceptional. The M8 doesn't feel any "bigger" than my M2. Given the more rounded/sloped nose of the M8 the view out of the car over the nose is better than that of the M2. |

Still think the M5 is the bar. I went from an M6 GC to an M8 GC and they're both nice. More sporty looking than the 5 but even with the new facelift the 5 remains more classic. M5 takes the cake for me.
