King Leopold III of Belgium was a fan of Ferraris and owned several. This 1952 342 America Cabriolet with body by Pinin Farina is among the most famous. The King later commissioned a 1955 375 Plus Cabriolet with somewhat similar lines.

Having teased the King's '55 Ferrari, I went looking for a photo. This car is among the most desirable of all Ferraris of any vintage. The last I heard it resides in the USA.

The 1922 Marmon Model 34B Speedster was an aluminum-intensive 5.6-liter six-cylinder car that was very competitive in early racing.

A prewar progenitor to the postwar MG TC that was largely responsible for the popularity of English sport cars in the USA: The MG TA drophead coupe with body by Tickford.

Ferrari's 250GT California spider never fails to catch my eye. This one is among the last (of 50 total) long-wheelbase models from 1960 and incorporates disc brakes -- most of the LWBs had drums. The color is special, too: I'd guess Nocciola metallic.
The long-wheelbase (102.4 inches/2.6 meters) cars were built from 1957 to 1960 and were mechanically similar to the 250GT Tour de France Berlinetta. Both open and closed cars were replaced by short-wheelbase (94.5 inches/2.4 meters) models: The 250GT SWB Berlinetta and the 250GT SWB California Spider. Those four models, produced from 1958 to 1963, are among the most coveted of vintage Ferraris and fetch millions when they infrequently change hands.
