Dealer ecu flash?
Know how the 2025 m2 has more horse power than the 2024? Is it possible to have the dealer flash the ECU with the 2025 mapping on a 2024 and get the little extra power?
My car is starting to display a maintenance reminder for next month and I figured I'd ask here vs the dealer. Anyway, I know I can do an aftermarket flash and get allot more hp out of the S58, but I don't want to void the warranty. |

The delaer is not able to flash you the 2025 software. Any kind of flash will lead to loss of warranty. You can flash the 2025 software by a coder as the original BMW files are used and the ecu is not locked for these files. kubax86 is a reliable source for such flashes.

There are a couple of threads here about the LCI flash. It’s not done by dealer. Can potentially cause warranty issues and I believe any OTA software updates will overwrite it
