Remus vs Milltek OPF back exhaust?

Anyone got any experience on thoughts on the 2 of these for a G42 M240i? Looking at OPF so it passes MOT easily (UK based).

Keen to hear peoples thoughts on the noise mainly. The Remus is quite abit more expensive but I prefer the tips, the Milltek one's looking comically large and the pipes seem to hang low but seems popular.

Thanks all,

The architecture of these two exhausts is very different - try and find pictures of both and you'll see what I mean. The Remus has a smaller back box and is double valved, where the Milltek is single valved after the backbox. The Remus is a true 4 pipe exit out of the backbox, whilst the Milltek has one pipe each side with a dual pipe finisher, much like the OEM.

I've seen both side by side and the Remus is substantially the better looking and better made product. I haven't heard them side by side, but I think the Remus is probably worth the extra money and I would expect it to sound better.

Not sure where you are in the UK, but probably worth a chat with Mike at Motech Performance about the Remus vs Milltek.

I will be probably buying the Remus race exhaust soon. After Cannockwolfs videos of the MPE exhaust I have a feeling the miltek without OPF modifications isn’t going to be as loud as I want.
I like the idea is a proper quad exit as well and basically straight through when the vales are open. So without touching the OPF as loud as it can be. Also when closed it will be still using a exit on each side.

Got one waiting to fit Even with the valves closed? Maybe the sports model is the one to go for

Literally not difference with valves closed. Soudns great under load don't get me wrong. But motorway drone sat at between 1800-2500rpm is bone rattling.

Not really sure what to do now. Think I've ruined it.

I managed to return my race one, I’m now on the fence on what to do.

I’m trying to find someone that has the sports version installed with the OPF’s still in place to see there opinions. There is very few pictures of the G42 one. I’m guessing it will be very similar to the G20 version which there is quite a few pictures of.
