Hardwire dashcam

I own a Nextbase 622GW dashcam and currently it is connected to the 12V lighter socket in my car but I am considering to hardwire it. The official hardwire kit only has 1 fuse branch cable while kits from other manufacturers have two (one for permanent live and one for switch live). I want to be able to use the parking mode function of my dashcam so I need to have it connected to a permanent live fuse. Why other kits have two fuse branches (yellow and red) while the official, which can be used for parking mode, only one? What is the advantage if you have it connected simultaneously to both permanent and switch live? In every post I read about parking mode members propose the double connection so I am a bit confused.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
