Dealer damaged my wheel.

So I recently purchased two cars from my local dealership. My newest m2 being one of them. My M2 was delivered with a crooked steering wheel. I asked my dealer to please correct it. They took two days to correct it. Saying the steering wheel and toe was out of spec. They fixed both of those issues. However, when I picked up my 300 mile old m2. I immediately noticed two marks on one of my rear wheels.

They checked there photos they took at my service appointment drop off and it’s clear these gouges were not present at the time I dropped it off. They said they would help to fix it. But with the holiday they asked me to come back next week.

My question is… is it worth letting them attempt to fix it? They are small marks. But I can see them. And my car was mint prior to them aligning it. So it bothers me. I’m not sure it’s worth letting a dealer attempt the fix it if there not going to replace the wheel. Am I asking too much wanting the wheel replaced? I somewhat feel that I am asking to much. But I just bought the car and two of them at once on top of that.

Thoughts, suggestions welcome.

And happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Those look like gouges in the finish. I’d ask how they’re going to repair them because the only way to fix that is with a repaint. Touching them up will make them look better but you’ll still be able to see the gouged area.

P.S. This is the second dealer screw up post in the past couple of days. Note to self, never bring your car in for service around the holidays because it seems like everyone’s already half checked out.

I'd ask for a new wheel & take it up the chain if they refuse. A BMW dealership (Sewell in Plano, TX) destroyed one of my tires and tpms when removing a tire on my previous 330e. Even after the tech admitted to it, the foreman refused to take responsibility for the damage, going so far as wanting to charge me a 200% markup on a new tpms, and 150% markup on a new tire. When I refused that, he told me "our name is on the building, we can & do markup our parts & service. If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else".

No response from upper dealer management, so I took the foreman's advice and not only take my BMWs somewhere else but purchased $140K-worth of BMWs (my M2 & wife's X3MC) from other dealerships.

Those are marked. Deep scratches.

They would need to order me a new wheel.
