Installing the midpipe on, do people replace the exhaust gasket where it connects to the DP? and also, is it required or recommended to?

I think since most of us are swapping the exhaust with low mileage on the car, people are reusing the gaskets.

I reused mine and did not have any issues with leaks on the AA midpipe.

Most people aren't swapping them unless damaged. However they aren't that expensive so nothing wrong with ordering new gaskets if your higher mileage or have removed once before.

You can reuse them as long as they are not damaged. There is three of them total ( 1x crossover pipe, 2x single midpipe ).
They are about $27 each.
