I used the Amazon material and made my own. I tucked mine inbetween the black molding and rubber seal around it. Only two zip ties to hold the top. The bottom and sides are held in place sandwiched in between the black modeling and rubber surrounding it. Also use two this strips of PPF around the posts holding my zip ties so they don’t scratch the black paint.

Zunsport grills. Not cheap, but they are easy to install and look great.

I just installed the Zunsport on the bottom as well, looks just like the above and a piece of cake to install.
I used Radiator Grille Store mesh on the front and zip tied it in behind a Sly Brackets front plate mount. Note that the Sly Bracket mounting system uses a spring loaded clamp that extends behind and along side the vertical strut. This required me to cut out a passage for it from the RGS plastic mesh. Once that piece was removed, the two fit perfectly. Photos below in case this can help someone in the future!

So thats the 2 screw Sly Bracket. Is there any reason to buy the other 4 screw bracket that they sell?

So I think (based on the photo on their site here) this is the 4 screw one. 2 screw is only the top screws and top 1/2 of the mounting plate, this is top and bottom screws and the mounting plate is the same size as the license plate. I figured this is more sturdy/rigid. Both mount to the car in the same way, but this has more support for the plate itself. Seeming more sturdy, but may not matter?

It looks slightly different than the photo since you can adjust how high the back plate mounts. Here I have the plate slid all the way down (mounted on the top most holes) so it hangs lower and doesn't interfere with the painted bumper above.

UK M2 owner here, I've had the car for two weeks now, after reading threads like this I was concerned about the possible damage to the various rads/coolers.
On my May '23 auto, the upper rad (behind the kidney grill) and the two side rads already have the factory fit plastic protectors on. The lower transmission cooler didn't, and was already showing signs of damage, so I ordered and fitted the Zunsport lower grill mesh. Impressed with the simplicity of design and fitment.
I also have the Zunsport oil cooler mesh on order, this looks to be a no brainer upgrade from the stock design.
Forgive the dirty car in the photos, I've been too busy enjoying driving it to clean it so far..... You can see the damage to the transmission cooler, the plastic protector on one side and then the after shots.

Those pics are a great advertisement for guards - I hate dinged up, bug caked radiators/coolers. Must do mod on these cars within first 1000 miles
