Hello, ive seen a couple comments that the front caliper bolts are single use. Can anyone confirm? My m2 has about 2k miles and switching to ebc red stuff and given its brake-related just want to be extra sure…

Would also be interested in confirming torque values for the 2 bolts on both the front and rear calipers. From what ive seen both bolts on rear are 35nm and front is 130nm but have seen varying comments. There was a post that has a ton of torque specs for the calipers. I just was unsure which component represented the two bolts

They may be nuts, not bolts.

Reusable either way. Just use a dab of locktite.

The nuts are single-use. They utilize a deformed thread as a locking mechanism. Once the nut is backed off, the deformed thread is "undeformed" and behaves like a regular nut. I wasn't aware of the deformed nut and reused mine after my first pad change and one of the nuts came off while on track. I would recommend getting a new set. The stock nuts have a somewhat thin wall. You can get beefier deformed nuts for less $ from McMaster Carr if you like.
Loctite is an option as well; but I would still go for a thicker nut. Don't use nylon locknuts; your brakes get too hot for nylon to be effective.

I replaced the brake pads at 500 mi & reused everything. I have over 17,000 mi now & no issues with the caliper bolts/nuts.

For the small cost and huge peace of mind, I swap new caliper nuts each time I swap pads. Not f'ing around with braking. The chance of something happening is probably close to 0, but if it did, the downside would be pretty aggressive.
