It took 3 weeks but I got an allocation! My dealership said to expect delivery in March 2025. Just in time for spring!

My car has been stuck at the factory since Nov 4. No updates and still awaiting a carrier. At this rate I will be lucky to get it in 2025. BMW Genius isn’t remotely helpful. I feel like they are waiting to deliver it when the tariffs are in effect!!!!

Do they know why there is such a delay with your car?
I also ordered from Fairfax and right now, according to BMW genius, my car seems to be on its way to the exit port.

No explanation for delay and it's frustrating. I have been stuck at Step 10 of 16 (Ready for Transport) since Nov 4, and nothing has changed. It is the same with BMW Genius, the App and online. BMW Genius just said that it's normal for the Mexican factory and the Mexican port????? They said maybe things will move forward in another couple weeks.

I feel your pain. Mine has been stuck in final assembly since end of October. Hopefully some movement soon.

Man, now I'm worried about my car.
After nearly a month of waiting it finally hit ready for transportation on the 27th of November, but it looks like I won't be getting it till at least next year. Seems like there is a vessel issue and there are no vessels to take the cars up. I was really hopeful for a near 2 month delivery time and to get it around the 3rd week of December but looks like that won't be happening.

Do you have any m performance carbon options? I have been in the same status as you since the 28th of Oct. My SA is saying it's likely due to my car being optioned with carbon diffuser/spoiler and they need parts to finish the car. They are looking into it for me waiting on an update.

M Performance parts are all installed at the destination port not the factory port in Mexico.
From what I’ve gathered it seems that there is no vessel assigned to our cars yet and that is why we have been sitting at the factory.

My CA texted me yesterday. He confirmed final build details before submitting then sent me a pdf with prod number

Interesting… I placed a deposit on the 11/19, then got an email from bmwusa on 11/23 with my build order, number, and the ability to see which stage of production the car is in. Still just says “Order Received” for me, so no VIN yet.
