Torque Specs
Does anyone know the torque specs for the brake caliper bolts both front and rear on these cars? What about a shop manual?

3411 Tightening torque overview Brake caliper / brake anchor plate at front swivel bearing M12 Renew screw. Tightening torque 130 Nm Brake disc to front wheel hub M8 tightening torque 16 Nm Brake disc to front wheel hub M8 Renew screw. Tightening torque 16 Nm Brake guard plate at front swivel bearing M6x12 Renew screw. tightening torque 8 Nm Guide bolt (brake caliper on brake anchor plate) M8 Renew screws. 35 Nm Rears: 3421 Tightening torque overview Brake anchor plate to rear wheel carrier M12 Renew screw. Tightening torque 130 Nm Brake disc to rear wheel hub M8 tightening torque 16 Nm Brake disc to rear wheel hub M8 Renew screw. Do you have torque specs for the front axle spindle nut and the lower strut bolts. Are these bolts a one time use?

Hopefully what you need is listed below.
Front axle carrier to body, rear M14 Renew screws. tightening torque 175 Nm Front subframe on front/center of body M12 Renew screws. Tightening torque 108 Nm Thrust field to front axle support M10 tightening torque 56 Nm Holder to front axle support Oval-head screw TS5 x 16 tightening torque 2.6 Nm Crash lever on frame/adapter of front subframe M14 Tightening torque 100 Nm Tension strut to front axle support M12 Renew bolt and cage nut. Tighten in normal position. Tightening torque 68 Nm Angle of rotation 180 ° Tension strut to swivel bearing M14 Renew nut. tightening torque 175 Nm Wishbone to front axle support M12 Renew screw and nut. Tighten in normal position! Tightening via screw. Tightening torque 68 Nm Angle of rotation 180 ° Wishbone to swivel bearing M14 Renew nut. tightening torque 175 Nm Damper weight to spring strut M8 Renew screw. Joining torque 28 Nm Angle of rotation 90 ° Front spring strut support bearing to spring strut M12 Renew nut. 71 Nm Nut and locknut/self-locking nut M8 Renew screws. Joining torque 28 Nm Angle of rotation 90 ° Special tool to pressure plate Tightening torque 8 Nm Spring strut to swivel bearing M10 Renew screw and nut. Tightening via screw. Tightening torque 60 Nm Angle of rotation 180 ° |

Here is where I get it all from, has all of the service bulletins (it shows service bulletins for ALL models so don't be scared when there are over 1k listed haha), etc. Click on link and then click start.
https://onl-osmc-b2i.bmwgroup.com/os...avigation=true Then go through the drop downs on the right to select our car. Then tightening torque button along top, then use drop down menu on left hand side to narrow things down. |

Years ago when I was wrenching we never or hardy ever replace bolts and now I see this quite often. I know these bolts are torque to yield and they stretch for max holding power but what are the chances if you reuse them. What are the thoughts here on this forum and is there a BMW tech working at a dealer say.
