I learned a long time ago the best track car is one that's cheap enough that you're willing to throw the keys in it and walk away from it. Cheap track cars are the best track cars, because that way when you stuff it into a wall, or some kid with a civic smashes into the back of you, you're not stuck with a smashed up car you have to pay to fix out of pocket.

TBH, I've never understood the concept of a "weekend" car. I used to drive 800 miles a week as my office commute, I drove great cars during the week because why waste time driving a crappy car (read as "Camry"). My idea of a "weekend car" would be the Ariel Nomad (if you can get it to be registered street legal). Last edited by Efthreeoh; 12-03-2024 at 09:44 AM.. |

Quite frankly, I enjoy these aspects after a long day at work in my DD: quiet EV mode, more comfort, tech (use Waze all the time), heated steering wheel, ect... OP, I was going to recommend the E9x M3, but since you've already had one before, then an M2C would be on my personal list as well. Really enjoyed that car (mine was a 6MT)

I can totally see people not wanting to take their loud uncomfortable manual car on their shitty bumper to bumper traffic commute everyday, but do want to drive it on fun roads on the weekend. |
