Excellent dealership. Hope Matt assisted with delivery, the bloke is a BMW genius (literally). Send me a message if you are interested in doing an early Sunday morning breakfast run.

Cheers

Glad to see the LCI's now rolling into Aus. I have a Portimao Blue Metallic on order with Alcantara wheel and MP rear spolier. Should be here early Jan 25.
I have so many parts and mods arriving at home that I'm getting impatient for the car to arrive.

Hi BMW People
I was lucky enough to purchase a 2023 M440i GC earlier this year and absolutely love it. It’s my first BMW and it makes me smile every time I drive/look at it. One would say I’ve been bitten by the Bimmer bug. I’m posting here to get a sense check on my next acquisition.
I’m looking at purchasing a used 2024 M2 in Frozen Pure Grey with 2000km on the clock. I’ve managed to get a 5 year extended warranty, window tint, 3 year service plan and full PPF for a drive away price of $130000.
What do you reckon, it seems like a reasonable deal to me.

A quick look on Carsales.com.au shows a few 2024 models with less than 3000kms on the clock in the $115k - $120k window 'drive away' so I would want my $130k M2 to have carbon buckets as a minimum and be absolutely spotless.

For those in Australia, have your dealers or sales reps offered you a chance to reserve the M2 CS? When I picked up my M2 about two months ago, I was able to secure an allocation with a $1,000 deposit (I was told I was third in line at my dealership). I’ve heard of another dealership asking for $5,000. Based in Melbourne.

I was speaking to a fellow at the M Drive Experience day last week, he currently has a deposit on the forthcoming M2CS. I should add that this fellow arrived at the drive day driving a GT2 RS (generation 991.2)...one of very few examples in Australia. As for deposits, historically, I have had to pay a $5k deposit on any factory ordered Porsche, so $5k probably isn't unreasonable to secure an allocation for what will no doubt be the last of the ICE performance M2's.

You should be able to pickup a New 2024 M2 G87 LCI with 5 year service plan / 5 year new car warranty / metallic paint / window tint /,for $130K or under, if you shop around the dealers, as they all received their new floor stock last month.
Cheers and good luck hunting.

Also, forgot to mention that BMW Sylvania was running a promotion on a program called CLIPPED ASSIST>
I took the 5 year Platinum package that has unlimited claims and Zero excess, with lifetime warranty on all the below repairs..
Was normally $1.8K for the 5 Year Platinum coverage, but had a special running for $1K.. No Brainer in my opinion..

Thanks for the replies so far, greatly appreciated!
The Clipped Assist is a bargain even at full price. I wonder how they would cope with frozen paint repair? Thanks Zuzu for the recommendation 👍🏻

Unfortunately need to let go of my G87 M2 only 6 months old with 8500km and would love for it to go to a fellow member. $3k of extras and 3 year service plan. Brooklyn grey. DM me if interested. My loss is your gain. Save a heap on new!
