sorry guys i must have had too much morning coffee, the real scenarios that could play out here are the permutations of

WCC 1 vs 2 (McLaren vs Ferrari - 21 points,

WDC 2 vs 3 (Lando vs Charles - 8 points,

WCC 6 vs 7 (unlikely involving 8th) Alpine vs Haas - 5 points or Haas vs Vcarb 8 points or Alpine vs VCarb 13 points.

the only natural fit is Sainz, apparently he has a get out clause if RB or Merc gives him a contract. but allegedly he is asking too much money and RB doesn't want to pay what he's asking (well that was the start of the year anyway).

I won't want to put Tsunoda or Lawson in that seat next year

Jos Verstappen only was Schumachers teammate for part of the year, as he was initially testdriver. So he only raced 10 out of the 16 races. So that comparison is moot.

Charlie will be trying hard to wrench second from Lando in the Drivers but it's a big ask, 8 points behind is not just a few behind with MAX back on top and the WCC looks all to be going to the Larens unless bad luck steps in.
MAX to win then Charlie with big eyes at him to let him past? Then Carlos with the papaya cars just behind playing safe (for the WCC) and Georgie in between them. VAL finally scores a point or two at last.

From what I understand of what he quickly said was that he had a ''massive delivery to a rear tyre'' from the PU and he couldn't control it. His car is set up like a slippery viper.

If Checo decides to go or something else then the now much better driver Gasly (without Ocon pulling him back) would be the perfect choice for me.

I would get a 5 sec. gap before the KitKat race was started ..
