Want more power. Intake+AA Catted DP. 91oct only.

I recently installed the AA catted DP and have the Dinan Intake w/ turbo inlet for a few months. I am now considering getting a piggyback "tune" to get more power but my worst enemy is not having access (too far) to anything better than 91oct fuel. Am I SOL as far as getting more power with the mods I currently have? Instead of a JB4, will using a JB+ score me some power or can I still benefit from JB4 without access to better fuel? I'm new to tuning and just as new to the BMW platform, forgive me if my knowledge and verbiage is lacking.

Yeah as for as I understand your only best bet on 91 is JB + or Dinan 'Tuner'. The only other option I can think of is doing a FlexFuel or Fuel it Sensor to run an E85 blend to like E30 (closest station to me is like 11 miles away), then with JB4 you can take advantage of the fuel on MAP 6 and make decent 'reliable' power for a PiggyBack. Other than that, JB4 is good but you just won't benefit as much without fuel so I would just go with the latter. Im in the same boat as you, we are SOL

I recommend the Jb4 for your car even if you only have access to 91.

New model cars run high boost from stock; they benefit a lot more from absolute maps than additive maps.

stage 1 tuners like the jb+ do not offer absolute maps
