Does the flash show on the vehicle graphic in the digital display? Normal brake, indicator and headlights do.

That was a great question. The flash does not show on the vehicle graphic.

Got this 12v adapter today that fits in the port but still allows the cover to close. Probably still need a 90 degree usb-c to close with the cable plugged in.
https://a.co/d/2HFVVMf

As an addendum to this, with a right angle usb c adapter the cover can close without unplugging the cable. A bit of a hassle to figure out but a good solution that looks fairly nice all said and done.

Had my first experience behind a triple-blinking strobe for the first time a few days back. Heavy rain, night driving, migraine headaches = worst experience behind this car! Had to pull over and let some other cars go ahead to block the strobe effect.

I can't imagine more flashing! Potentially dangerous conditions that are forced upon others behind you. However, within the law, go for it! I need to deal with it as I did.

One of the issues I considered. Thats why I went with this model that only strobes once.

I drove my car in the snow for the first time!

Pirelli Cinturato Weatheractive did great, felt just like snow tires except they also drive great on dry pavement.

Traction control should be semi off at a minimum unless you have no idea how to drive in snow. I left it on at the start just to see what it would do, tons of intervention not a great idea.

Got my Eventuri intake installed recently. Took these pics today. Very well made and sounds just about perfect. Not too obnoxious which is exactly what i was hoping for.

Ordered an exhaust from Alibaba. Catted and based on the valvetronic design with M quad exhaust tips! $1200 shipped.

Bought an M Performance style spoiler in carbon fiber as well from Ali while I was at it.

Next will be the tires. My car didn't come with staggered wheels and I'm not going to spend just to buy larger rims, so will stick with a squared setup. I'm in Texas and don't track so are PS4S a little overkill? Thinking of going 245/40 instead of the current 225/40 all around.

245/40 is nice so far, I think it's a good sweet spot for daily, however I haven't had a ton of experience on wider rears since they came off the car within 50 miles.

PS4S are not track tires, they are for the street. If you aren't spending much time driving below 40f then that's the ticket. If you want longer treadlife then PSAS4 are better for that.

I think I want to prioritize tread life more than just pure performance so maybe the All Seasons are worth it.

I know some will (correctly) say that I'm missing out on performance by putting the A/S tires on versus pure summer tires, but tires are expensive and I don't really push my car much outside of straight line acceleration and getting up in the low 100s on the highway sometimes.

Do you think 245/40 squared is a good setup?

Does anyone know how to (affordably) change my grille and intake vents black to make them "Shadowline"?

Is the answer plastidip? I've heard it's a whole PITA to take off the grille and that the front bumper has to come off for the vents, so really trying to not do that or I'll have to take it to a shop (at which point I guess they can just wrap it).

Well the regular black plastic grills aren't expensive at all. It's possible to change out the grill without taking the bumper off it's just a pain in the ass. You need a really long flat head screwdriver to pry the tabs from inside rather than outside the bumper.

There are two links. The first one I posted did not work. The one in post #2194 works as of one minute ago.

Yeah but KBB doesn't buy cars homie. I think you'll get high 30s depending on the model and year after an accident was reported. I had my car two months before someone backed into my 2024 G42 and fucked the bumper up. Carfax on it already.

Getting Dinan installed on Monday. I was going to get MSS but it seemed that they were not clear which springs were for the G42 and the G42 specific ones were discontinued. I decided to go with the better supported brand, not a good sign when the manufacturer cant even make it clear what part you are supposed to buy and I have heard of people having trouble with MSS in the past.

Honestly I considered lowering the car for about two minutes until I realized that it's already a bumpy enough ride even in comfort mode. I already feel bad enough for my passenger lol
