update loving the new head unit, as it's an updated version with car play and bluetooth that looks oem, however that being said the sound isn't that great, I'm in the process of getting a 12 volt installer to adjust some of the unit to get better sound out of the system.

I came here to ask this. Sad to hear it doesnt sound that great. Thats the problem with all of those headunits. Are you planning to run a DSP or something to make it better?

Trying to work it out. Yup the AVIN head units are great but not great for sound. It's the weakest link to the system. I will probably toggle back and forth from DSP
