noise/vibration from rear seats iconic sound
Well, after 7 months I finally received my 230i, the car is a ship and I am super happy or was I until I put the car well in the sport and sport + mode when the iconic sound is activated, every time I step on the accelerator it sounds like a kind of vibration like from the rear right speaker and it is quite annoying, by deactivating the iconic sound the vibration can no longer be heard. Anyone know what can it be? Or if it has happened to any of you too, next week I will go to the dealership to see what they say...

Yeah that’s what I was think it would be a frequency that the sound system doesn’t reproduce properly haven’t gotten enough miles yet to reel out the engine yet

Unfortunately not, my car has been at the dealership for 21 days. It's the 4th time I've taken it to get it fixed and they can't do it. Yesterday they called me to tell me that they've removed the screen, when the problem is with the harman kardon speakers. There are many threads in the dealership forum that this problem affects the 2,3 and 4 series. The solution is to put felt on the speakers so they don't vibrate or so I read in a thread that unfortunately they've deleted . I'm fighting with my dealership about that, let's see how it ends. |

I have a similar issue in my m240 but I think the vibration is from my front I/P speaker on the dash. I've resorted to just raising the volume of my music because I cannot be bothered bringing my car to the dealer.

To know for sure if it’s the speaker gril; next time it happens, put your hand on the center speaker grill. If it stops, then that’s it. I have read that people put felt under the grill to stop it. I’ve not tried to fix it as of yet |

The annoying noise continues. The car has been in the garage for more than 72 days. More than 5 visits and they haven't fixed it. They told me it was a clip that had come loose, they put it back in but the noise continued. This last time they replaced the speaker but it still keeps ringing. They will most likely take legal action to get my money back. I reported this problem the day the car was delivered to me more than a year ago and it's still exactly the same. I wouldn't spend 60 thousand euros on a new car that they already have to be doing repairs on and showing. By the way, I'm from Spain too, like you. If you get more info, we can talk privately.
