2025 M240ix suspension question

I have had my 2025 M240ix for about 2 months and still getting used to it. It seems like when I go over some rougher or uneven roads there is some suspension "thumping" from the rear. It's not extreme but I wonder if this is normal. I am using comfort setting.

Sounds like you might still have shipping blocks installed on the rear suspension? https://g87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=2042308

It's been an issue since I had my G42 in late 2021. Strut tower replacements under warranty seem to have mixed results, assuming you can get the dealer/corporate to approve a repair.

It's been a while since I looked at any of the G42 stuff. It appears some people solved the issue isolating the parcel shelf from making noise. I definitely heard the clunking noise when I was off camber at low speeds going over uneven road surfaces. I hope you can figure it out!

Known "defect" in the G42 M240 (not sure if same with the 230). During my last visit for maintenance, they replaced the shocks. Made it a little quieter but still there...

It is not an issue with the G87 (to those from a different thread saying the G42 and G87 are basically the same beyond the drivetrain, take notice.. ).
