Hi everybody,

I saw a video of someone Talking out the charcoal filter out of his G82 M4 intake to create a little bit more intake noise - i wanted to do the same mod to my G87 M2 LCI and found out that it doesn’t even has one.

Just because I am curious.

Does anyone know if only the LCI come stock without those filters or maybe because I am a EU Model or all G87 come without.

Two other people have responded in another post that the ‘25 does NOT have the charcoal filter (they were both US builds).

I had a posted a DIY for removing these in my ‘24 and they responded in that thread.

MY23 G87 had them.

2024 and earlier G87s definitely have a charcoal filter.

There have been a couple reports so far that 2025 does not. I'd love to see a unique 2025 part number to confirm that.
