It's a good bet that I'll go the JB4 route within the next year. I just have to get over the nerves of installing it on basically a brand new car. I had one on my E84 X1 and loved it.

I hope you're all doing great!

I was thinking about getting the JB4 installed onto my G87 M2 and came across this thread. I just have a few questions I'd like to ask:

1. Can BMW know i have/had a JB4 on the car?

2. Will it flag my ECU?

3. It's my daily, and im also usually an aggressive driver and sometimes race the car on a track. Will i have any reliability issues engine wise? Is the added boost fine and reliable? (Will run map 2).

4. Does it cause any knocking?

5. Does the car pull smoothly on WOT? Any hp dips i can feel or should be aware of on high rpm? Is fueling sufficient on high rpms to cope with the extra boost?
