M2 front badge removal?

Hi
How do you remove the front M2 badge in the grill? Is there some clips or anything visible after removing it?

I've already tried to paint it. Prepped, sanded, primed, painted & cleared. For whatever reason the paint peeled right off after letting it dry for 2 days. Some people may not want to mess with it & simply replace it. Options.

As mentioned above. It's held on with double-sided tape. Stick a plastic trim tool behind it and pop it off
