2022 BMW M550 (thinking of buying)
I'm going back and forth with a dealership who has an 2022 M550 x drive, seems pretty loaded, miles are pretty low at below 14,000. it's a cetified pre-owned with 1 previous owner.
dealer asking price is $61,000. i have a paid off 2022 m340 xdrive fully loaded that i'm going to trade in, but they don't know that right now. reason for changing car is i'd like a bigger car with more room. what would be a good price to pay? thanks. Quote:

Looks like a nice car, but I have not followed M550 prices. I bought a CPO F90 M5 a few years ago and got a sense while shopping of the right discount from MSRP at that time. Not sure what that is, in general, today, or what it is for this model and year car. The updated M550 looks close enough in performance to the M5 for most people and it is likely more comfortable. I wanted to compromise towards performance.

Fair price in my humble opinion.

Buy it if you like it. I had a friend with a new 340i who sold it a year later for a new 550i. He liked the V8 feel. The 550 is a lot more car than the 340.

The $23,388 difference looks reasonable, but if you have the time, selling your M340 privately might get you more money. Of course, it does mean dealing with listings, showings, and negotiations, so it depends on what’s worth it to you.

Good call dude. I’m spoiled by custom ordering new BMWs the last 25 years but the new 5 doesn’t do it for me like a M550i so I’m starting to think 15k+ miles isn’t too much.

it has 2 years of warranty, i think if it's anything like my m340, it ran almost 60,000 without issues, if this can do the same, i'll be happy. not buying additional warranty.
