Funny, I was in the exact same boat. I found the same issue. There isn't enough information out there from customers who have these coilovers. All of the information is from either the manufacturer, or retailers, both of which have a profit motive.

Maybe I'll bite the bullet once my new M2 is fast again, just so I can have an educated discussion about the pros and cons.

I went with MP HAS dealer installed on my last G87 and had it port installed on this one.

Really wish Ohlins would make a coilover solution that retains factory EDC. One can dream.

It is a bit odd no other companies are making coilovers with EDC especially Ohlins.

I placed an order on Nov 30th. Quickly received a production number. My status has been in Production Begins since I have been able to check it in My BMW. I called the Genius number and their system said my car was on the way to the dealer. I emailed my sales agent and according to his sources, my final production is scheduled for Jan 16th. I really have no idea which is accurate so we'll see when it arrives.

I finally called the genius hotline. My twilight purple build week is the 7th week (Feb 9th-15th). Guessing April-May would be my pickup for individual color at this point?

Check MyBMW, if there is no VIN assigned to your order, you car is not built. (Assuming you are US).

Got my VIN on Friday. CA originally told me week 3 build, so slightly ahead of schedule unless I'm off on weeks? Should be done by Jan 20th hopefully then however long to actually reach the dealer

Build week actually indicates when an order completes production, not when it starts production -- so your week 3 build is actually right on schedule.

I have an 0325 Build Week, as well -- and just checked MyBMW and am still at 112. Looks like a call to Genius is in order tomorrow to check on things ...

Still on as of now…will make a decision tomorrow before I fly out there on Thursday morning. Looks like Greenville/Spartenburg area is expecting 3-4 inches on the 10th. Timing couldn’t be worse.

I decided not to drive the car back to NJ the following week after full ppf so I don’t have to deal with summer tires. I booked an enclosed car transport to send her home.

I got my production # last week and in mygarage using the F12 trick is sitting at 102 status (for my individual color) and obviously shows no estimated production date. I hear about people calling the Genius # but curious at what point I am reasonably going to get any information about estimated timeline here.

You could be soon or out 16-20 weeks.
Regular production + 8-12 weeks.
It really depends how many other individual of the same color you ordered. You could be the last car in a batch or the first and you won't know.

I'll get my deposit back if that happens and order an individual paint and interior M4.

My car clocks in at $84k including M HAS.
Add 25% and my car is $105k. Nope!

I can get into an M4 for about $98k with M HAS, Venetian Violet, Tartufo carbon buckets, etc.

In two weeks I'll know.
