M240i X-Drive, rear diff, restrain system faults...

I'm curious if anyone has experienced similar faults to these? (see attached photos)

Background:
I was using the car like normal when I got 1 error message 'you can continue driving. Four wheel drive system fault'. I did some research and this seemed fairly common so didn't think much of it, assuming it'd probably clear the next time I'd use the car (in a few days).

This day comes, and BAM... 10 or 11 faults.

I used BMW roadside to get someone to have a look, they said they tried clearing the faults but they'd reappear and it's saying to replace some control unit (he did say which one but I can't remember, I'll update if I find out).
The car was sent to BMW today so hopefully they can sort this out.

The car is 6 months old, and has around 4k miles on it. So battery shouldn’t be of concern… well you’d like to hope.
It’s been driven slightly more than usual over the Christmas period.

Do you have the stock wheels, complete set? Or do you have aftermarket wheels/spacers with different wheel size compared to the list that is official from bmw?

Asking this as xdrive system can have errors when something is not within the bmw OEM spec.

Also, in the tire pressure meniu, do you have the correct dimensions set up?

I got the rear axel fault message during a drive home in early December after the car sat for a week.
It went away the next time I restarted the car (about 40 min. later) and hasn't return since *knock on wood*
I posted on here but no one chimed in so probably no one has seen this before.

Mine is a 25 with 1500 miles on it at the time, all stock.

Keep us posted.

So got my car back a week ago and everything is working as it should be.
The issue was with the 'transfer box control unit' / 'Set Longitudinal Torque Module', not sure what caused this to fail though.

They also replaced a headlight due to water ingress which is good.

The car was out of action for about 4-5 days, so not too bad of turn around time.

Let's hope your issue doesn't return, but if it does this should give some insight to what the problem may be.
