Minnesota/Wisconsin Dealership Recommendations
Hello all,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m in the market for a new car and reside in Minnesota. So far, my only experience has been with Motorwerks BMW in Bloomington Minnesota. Unfortunately, I haven’t been impressed with their service. I’d appreciate any recommendations you might have for dealerships in Minnesota or Wisconsin that provide good prices/service. Thank you in advance! Last edited by arminius; 12-12-2024 at 03:48 AM.. |

I’ve bought from Motorwerks but don’t live in the area so never serviced there. I don’t think they have any dealers in NW Wisconsin?

You pretty much get Motorwerks or Minnetonka in the cities, or Rochester I think has a dealership as well.
I've had good experiences at both places, but maybe I got lucky. Or I have lower standards haha. |

Easy fix and other than that the car ran perfectly for the several years I owned it. Definitely recommend Right Buy, just get the car inspected before you purchase. |

For a BMW dealership, I've dealt with BMW of Minnetonka for years buying/leasing several cars from them and think highly of them. I've bought one car from Motorwerkz over the years and the experience was OK.

Were both dealerships offering similar pricing and it was mainly the service that was the differentiator? Thanks for your input

He then moved back to Minnetonka and I followed him back there. Over the years we've gotten to know several people at Minnetonka in management and my personal service advisor is a great guy. I consider my CA a personal friend. We are by no means wealthy but we live a comfortable life. I walk in there looking like a homeless person some days 🥸 and yet they always treat us well. That relationship means as much to me as the price. I LOVE wheeling and dealing at car dealerships and so few around here do it anymore. We have leased / bought 8 cars through Minnetonka and only one time have we not been able to come to agreement on a price that both sides could live with. Minnetonka is much further away from where we live but i don't mind that at all. I still do service there even though I could go to Motorwerkz. I value the relationship there.
