Beef ribs!

They are hiding under the gravy!

With carrots, potato, onion and celery. Herbes de Provence is the primary seasoning, with raisins and a touch of red wine vinegar for a bit of sweet and sour. Gravy made with braising liquid (juices, tomato paste and stock) and roux.

A great winter comfort food meal!

Grapes for dessert.

Date-Me Chicken. Chicken thighs, dates (d'uh), shallots and lemon slices served over rice. I had high hopes for this recipe that, alas, did not "pan" out. The evening was saved by Chardonnay.

Leftover chicken ballotine and boxed stuffing (Stovetop!). Boxed stuffing is not bad once in a while!

It was in the pantry longer than planned so it needed to be worked into the rotation.
