I had 2000s on my G80 and there was some dust reduction and no difference in performance. Went with 1500s for my G87. So far dust reduction is even better and performance again seems exactly the same as stock for street driving. I haven’t and don’t plan to track my cars so not worried about performance at the most extreme limits.

Glad to see the post. I have budgeted getting iSweep pads but trying to decide between the 1500s and the 2000s.

I like having a reduction in brake dust but seeing some post stating that the 1500s are def not as good as stopping the car as the stock worries me which is why I was leaning towards the 2000s. My heart says 1500s my head says 2000s lol.

Those were my exact thoughts when I bought the 2000s for the G80 but after experiencing them and wanting more dust reduction I went with the 1500s on my G87 and after about 500 miles of driving I’m glad I did as it’s noticeably better dust reduction and still can’t notice difference of stopping bite/performance.

If I was going to do any track driving though, I’d stay with stock just because I don’t think isweeps are recommmended for any track use.

Only thing I really noticed performance-wise is the 1500s aren't as grabby. Which is fine by me! They are also MUCH quieter - silent, in fact. Car stops just fine & no doubt, the reduced dust is just 🤌🤌🤌.

I drive on CT highways and have been cut off many times, and quite closely. Have had to emergency brake and the 1500s didn't scare me one bit - controlled, forceful braking.

Not only that, the dust you do get washes off easily, even blows off with good air compressor.
