You haven't provided any objective data to support the above statement re: quality. Nor have you provided support of your claim that they're made in the US. At this point, just say "I had better experience with Optimate chargers" because that's all you have.

What you are discussing here? The man is asking not about maker. He is asking about heating and if its normal or not. The ctek and any another will get warm and even hot depend on condition of battery. If battery is fully discharged for example the ctek and any another chargers with pre programmed intelligence will work at 100% productivity and will get warm or even very hot. This is their construction and simple physics you could not have at school maybe))) another types of chargers with manual set up of amperes will not get warm if you are charging battery at low amperes which is much healthy to all batteries. But you don't know about that chargers in US.

Nobody cares about your anecdotal personal experiences combined with light bigotry and the attention seeking attitude of a “pick me” girl. There’s a couple dozen people in this thread and every one of them has pretty much agreed you’re the sole issue here.
