If the dealer says its fixed, I would drive it and if it blows it blows. If it does blow it will probably be a complete long block to include turbos and related hardware because all this stuff is connected.

Exactly, drive it and if it brakes obviously the dealer was wrong with their diagnosis. It’s a warranty repair regardless. There’s no way BMW will approve the dealer to replace an engine at this stage in the game so go with the flow and everything will come out in the wash as they say.
