CSL-Style grille by AutoTecknic

Finally installed AutoTecknic’s carbon fiber CSL style grill on my M2. I’m pleased with the fitment of their product and even more pleased with the transformation to the front end! I also installed their CF lower air inlets which are replacements for the OE piano black vents and do not require any trimming like the factory M Performance version does. Love how the design of the grill flows with the diagonal piece of the air inlets.

Looks great! Did you have to remove the bumper to install? Also, where did you buy it from? I did not see on Autotecknic's website.

Yes, requires bumper removal. Took 30 minutes to remove bumper, replace grill (including the air inlets), and re-install bumper. These cars are extremely easy to take apart.

The grill is not yet for sale but will be in the next few weeks.

I ordered both of these on Black Friday. They're cooking up a fresh batch, hopefully they'll be here by the end of the year and I can put them on the car.

Looks like they change the front air inlet to a double fin inside.

Will help with things coming in.

Sadly, one piece came in damaged. I emailed them and hopefully they can resend another one. OP, did you do the install yourself? Did you simply peel off the tape on the back and essentially glue them on?

Sorry to hear that. Hope they’ve taken care of you. Yes, just tape them on and you can also use zip ties to secure the hooks on the CF piece to existing slots for the tabs where the factory piece mounts to.

How was your lower inlet fitment? Mine was absolutely TERRIBLE. My corsa grill was ok and the quality was good but still wobbled a little, also no post holes in the M2 badge location on the grill.
The inlets were fine quality but yeah fitment was GARBAGE.

Mine were spot on. You have to line up the outer edge (sensor side) as tight as possible and the other sides will fall into place.

Mine were so lose the tape didn't even come in contact with the bumper when I aligned any one side for the tape to adhere. I'm goiung to have to call them.

If it didn’t require pulling off the front bumper I’d definitely do the same
