Which camber plates are most quiet? Carbahn?

Currently have Ground Control camber plates on my 2024 M2 as I need to hit -3 camber to fit my Bimmerworld 11" square wheels on track. The GC plates work great for track but driving through NYC daily is just too noisy - they clank continuously over even minor road imperfections. All bolts/connections have been double checked and are tight.

Does anyone have experience with the newly released Carbahn camber plates? I heard Millway may be better than Ground Control for NVH but still make a fair amount of noise. If I switch out, I want something that is truly quiet.

I am a fan of the Suspension Secrets plates. Addresses caster as well as camber and a few other features. Worth checking out.

Something ain't right. There should be no clanking. I have run various GC camber plates on many cars both street and track. Zero noise.

If installed correctly there are no loose parts to make noise.

Appreciate the feedback. My friends with GC plates on their F82 have a similar noise as me so thought it was more common to GC, and it got worse after my first track event. Have you also had GC plates on a G8x or was this only on other cars?

Damn, GC is still around. I remember them back in my E46 days.

Don't have them on g87 yet. E36s, E30s, 2002s. Noise issues should not be related to platform. There is nothing that should be loose to cause noise in a top mount.

At full suspension droop are your springs loose? That would cause noise over bumps. Or loose sway bar links would too.

Yes, and they rock. Have had full GC suspension setups on my 2002, E30s and E36s from street to race.

Won't have access to my car for another week or two but will check. Thanks again.

Just installed Millways. Not 100% quiet but not loud enough to bother me

Double-check your installation. Most of the time, the culprits are the top nut and anti-roll bar end link nuts not being fully tightened.

If you want to try Vorshlag plates, send a PM for a quote.

I’ve been interested in these plates. Are they still running quiet for you?

Why do people think camber plates cause noise? If properly installed, there are no loose parts to make any noise.....

Because they do. It’s a fact. You’ve taken out a rubber isolation. Some make more noise than others.

Got a link? I’ve searched and the only thread I can find is some guy that can’t properly instal them.

I have had vslag and GC plates in a bunch of BMWs over the last two decades. None of them made any noise.

Taking out the rubber increases harshness, but unless something is loose, does not increase noise.
