He had the current Republican house tank a bipartisan bill to get a fix moving so he could claim nothing was being done.

Also, if we want to stop illegal immigration; how about a guest worker program like we had in the 1970s before the GOP decided it was a bad idea?

How about we fine businesses that hire people that are not eligible to work 5x the annual pay of each individual they are caught hiring?

Illegal immigration is only viable if businesses keep ignoring the law.

Exactly. Some fix lol. But most don’t do any research beyond the first thing that pops up in a google search to find facts and the truth. They want to “get back to cars” so no one can dispute their posts that they made unrelated to cars.

I've read through a lot and skimmed through all of it.

It is disingenuous and specious to only cherry pick and post bits and pieces.

I didn't go off on the tangent unrelated to cars but have not problem pointing out flaws in both the GOP and Democratic boarder policies. They have been broken since Reagan and nobody on either side seriously wants to fix them. They want to use them as a wedge issue or an alarmist issue. H1B has been broken since I graduated engineering school more than 30 years ago and there has been no substantive fix at all.

We have no guest worker program, which is why people come here AND stay.

Felon45 doesn't understand basic economics or he'd understand that consumers pay tarrifs and not the governments.

I can go on but let's stop the playing that the GOP wants to fix the boarder. Trump had the presidency, the house and the senate and didn't fix it.

The boarder bill was a start and he wanted it dead so he could use this as a wedge issue in the election.

And no I don't like Felon45 and didn't like him before he went into politics. He's a slime ball and his attitude toward the Central Park 5, "Birther Movement" and his DOJ lawsuits for discrimination are plenty. As a Black man in this country, I know a racist when I see one.

Now, I can debate this till the cows come home, but I really like cars.

I ordered mine at 2500 off ($1500 and $1000 rebate). Gave me a good deal on the trade in as well.

It is definitely doable if you clash prices with enough dealerships. If you don't want to spend your time doing that, that's fine, but most likely you will get $500 tops.

My suggestion would be to hit up smaller dealerships that you know won't even get an allocation for the car but are desperate enough to do business with you at $1000-2500 off the car's price, then go to the biggest dealer in your state to clash prices and secure your allocation.

Me personally, I would never pay MSRP for one, but whatever floats your boat I guess...

I’m looking for a M2 for a track/street car. Friend told me to wait for ‘26 xdrive M2. Need to find a deal, so that won’t work for me. He suggested a M4. Those look so big to me. Love the size of M2.

Agreed on the size. M4 is about 12” longer but seems much bigger

I ordered my 24 in February last year from Inskip BMW. To my surprise they were willing to negotiate on an allocation. I got 2k off. I know the auto industry as a whole is starting to struggle with sales but BMW doesn’t appear to be in the same boat as most manufacturers. IMO, I dont think we will be seeing any major discounts this year.
