Cancelled Order: Purchased new one on the lot

Last week I posted that I ordered a Portimao Blue M2. It had hardly any options and an MSRP of $70,250. I was concerned about build time and impact of tarrifs so I started looking for what's currently available.

And I found a brand new 2024 (10 miles) Frozen Pure Gray. 6-Speed, Carbon Package, HUD, etc. List and MSRP was $79,490.

So I decided to email them if they would discount as the 2025 are out. They came back with a small discount but nothing major. After some back and forth I think I got a great deal - I got them to go down to $73,990 - $5,500 off MSRP. On top of that, they gave me $1,500 more for my trade than the dealership I ordered the car for.

So just a few thousand more I got a lot more options inan awesome color (looks so much better in person)

I drove it home two hours and I'm already on love

That’s a great spec congrats. Seems like a good deal even if your trade may have been worth a bit more which is typically how they make sure THEY get a good deal

Dude you got a killer deal. Congrats! Much better than the one you spec’d out also

(coming from one manual carbon pack to another).

Just made an appointment for tint and XPEL PPF on the car - I don't even want to take the car out as we have tons of cinders on the road from snow. However I couldn't resist today so I took it for a short drive.

It's an amazing car. I've had 2 hellcats, a 392 Challenger, C8, 450hp to wheels 335 x drive, Porsche Macan Turbo, and other sports cars. I can say definitively that this has the most technology. Too early to tell on driving but feel this gives the perfect balance of sport, feel, comfort, and accessibility. I loved the C8 all around. Hellcats were amazing for short bursts going straight. I can't wait to get on this and feel the handling.

Great spec dude! You 100% got a good deal. My MSRP was $78 and that's without carbon buckets and Toronto Red which is less than frozen I believe. Carbon buckets and frozen paint, I'm jealous.

Traded a new Acadia? How was it? GMC and Chevy did nice redesigns on the Acadia and Traverse. Is the M2 completely replacing it for daily driving? Or different purpose all together?

The Acadia was great - I really enjoyed it to be honest. It rode nice, tons of features for the price point, and I had the AT4 which sat higher and had larger tires. I purchased the Acadia as I was putting too many miles on my C8 - as I was commuting more than in the past. I then decided to sell the C8 and just have the Acadia.
Then my girlfriend purchased a new 6speed WRX and I started driving that and realized how much I miss stick

. So I decided to trade the Acadia in for the M2. It's my only car at the moment but I am back o only going in to my office one or two days a week so I'm not driving near as much as I was.

$5k off is a pretty sweet deal overall. I'm sure if my gf showed up in a new 6-speed WRX, I probably would've done almost the same thing that you did. Enjoy it man!
