Small correction...that '57 Fairlane 500 2dr hardtop was called the "Club Victoria"...the "Skyliner" was their retractable hardtop to convertible...it had a more formal roofline...

Just to muddy the waters some more, in 1960-61 there was the Starliner. (Fixed hardtop.)

Here's a familiar face: The 1956 AC Ace roadster, powered by either of two six-cylinder engines of 2 liters and 90-120 hp. The Ace later won fame as the chassis selected for installation of a 260 cubic inch Ford V-8 (and later 289 and 427 variants) and went on to an illustrious racing history. But that was years later.
