Been loving these unique and older gt couples lately. This color is perfection. Funny how much a car like this stands out now among the newer designs of today. I also agree these two work well together on camera.

This is a very gorgeous coupe indeed. I was a high school when this came out & always drooled when I saw one. The 850CSI is a rare machine & would be worth a lot not. But it's a pure pleasure to drive. And yes, the induction noise needs to be amped up a touch too. Wish there was a nice exhaust clip once Jay Leno started it up.

Video aside, the 850 CSi is a jewel. I am out of garage space and discretionary money for another car, but I would love to add this car or an E24 M6 to my collection at some point.

Finally someone says it. He does make me roll my eyes a bit, but he’s entertaining and seems to care about all the right things. None of his videos are clickbaity, they’re all about genuinely interesting or iconic cars

He’s miles ahead of Doug Demuro- who probably is a better businessman than car personality at this point.

I've been seeing one of these - albeit in poorly maintained condition - in one of the Santana Row parking garages in San Jose. Not the condo / apartment garage either, just the public one. Not sure if it's someone's daily driver / project car or just a poorly maintained one being semi-stored there but it caught my eye a few times, enough to notice that it seemed to be there regularly.

It would be epic if BMW made another V12....

Yeah but that's why top gear did goofy things too--there's a bigger audience than just curmudgeony car enthusiasts, there are younger kids growing up on YouTube and goofy works on a wide audience without being too serious.

Can't deny he does his research and employs excellent video teams
