I was curious about what Edmund’s would show and not surprisingly it’s right in the range you already know. I used a 2013 model with 80k miles and I chose every option available and these are the dealer retail value and private party value.

Do they have any explanation of their reasoning why anyone should pay at least a $6,000 premium?

Cause they overpaid at auction 3 years ago
I said that's not my issue and if they wanna make a deal, they have my contact info.

Crazy. Being that it’s a mom and pop operation it seems like they ought to just give up on selling it and make it a personal vehicle and just drive it.

Unfortunately alot of deallers (as well as private sellers) positioned right in this scenario. They bought the car at premium at covid days and they are trying to sell it but cannot justify the loss. They don't mind keeping rusted or until a magical person shows up to buy it.

Yeah I moved on from it. Not paying what they want.
